Taco’s time with us was a strange, but loving one. We met at pretty horrible times in both of our lives. She had been stray almost a decade (which we didn’t know until right before her passing) and I was in a severe depression. The day I met her she wagged her tail for hours and kept doing it for the entire 1.5 years I had her. Every single day she wagged her tail from dawn until dusk. I think she was happy to have a forever home. I’m happy we could give her that. There is a saying that some beings will come into your life when you need them most and exit when you’ve both healed. We really did do that for each other. Every day with her was spent proving that she was a blessing to our lives.
To taco, I love you and I’m glad your pain is over now. Admittedly I would do anything to have you here but I know sometimes that isn’t possible. You will be missed, my love. By many.
