Sandy Boo “The Boss” Pevy
There aren’t enough words to express how truly special our little angel Sandy was. She came to us as a rescue but I’m not sure who rescued who. She was about two and a half years old and very sick when she first came to live with us. She was on the euthanasia list at MAS. We were her foster parents but soon became foster failures. We were her proud parents for over nine years. Sandy could communicate and understood every word we said. We often found ourselves spelling words to talk around her. She even taught our other rescue to go up and down steps. It was one of those moments you wouldn’t believe if you hadn’t seen it for yourself. We went on daily walks and Sandy was sure to let you know when it was time to go.
During our walks Sandy brought smiles and waves from everyone, even people driving by. She was a shining star that was so bright you couldn’t help but notice. Sandy was a little girl but she was a pit bull inside always letting everyone know she was “the boss”. She absolutely loved to eat. It was impossible to sneak a bite without her knowing it and demanding her share. We were truly blessed to have Sandy in our lives. She was an angel on earth and now has her wings in heaven. We love you Little Boss Dog, you will forever be in our hearts.
