My wife had the foster lady bring Mocha over for an interview for us for adoption. I told the lady; we have 3 dogs, and I don't want another. Thanks for coming and goodbye! The next day, my wife came home with Mocha anyway. I think Mocha knew I didn't want her, so she started sucking up to me right away. She followed me everywhere. Mocha didn't give up on me. She sat at the door every day at 4:00 waiting for me to come home from work. She slept beside my bed. Even fought another dog that was trying to harm me. That was it, she won me over. After I retired, I rarely left her, she stayed by my side constantly. After 14 years with us she started going downhill. She struggled to find me if I went to another room. I knew it was time. When I picked her up at Peebles, she finely got to ride in the front seat! Bill and his Staff were so respectful, courteous, and wonderful! It has been weeks since Mocha passed on but I still look down at her bed wishing she was there. I miss that Dog! I loved that Dog!!
