Meeka came into my life as answered prayer.  I had just received a days old baby kitten who was found under a porch. This tiny kitten was found with a sibling that perished soon after being discovered.  I named the surviving kitten Uno because he was all alone. After the first night with Uno, I was pretty sure that he would perish unless I found a mother cat.  After reaching out for help, a rescuer told me about a new mother cat that was owner surrendered with 3 young kittens to Tipton County Animal Shelter. I grabbed Uno and headed to rescue the mother cat and her kittens with hopes that she would be a mother to little Orphan Uno.  Uno was immediately placed with this mother cat and her kittens.  She instantly accepted him as her own and started intently caring for him.   This mother cat was named  Meeka.  Her three kittens  were all girls and she seemed proud to have a son.  All her babies are in good homes and thriving. Uno, Priss, Idjit, and Neka.  Meeka's life was cut short by a freak jumping accident. I only had 1 1/2 years with her but I meant to give her a long loved life.  My heart will love this incredibly sweet fur baby for the rest of my life.  Lisa McIntosh
