Libby Elise Davis

It’s taken me over nine months to be able to write this and it’s still not easy.  However, you deserve to be honored as well as forever cherished my sweet Libby.

God sent you to us at softball practice – Ha!  So when this single mom opened the back hatch to load equipment only to find both her children lovingly draped around a gorgeous blonde lab puppy refusing to leave without her; Yep - I caved instantly.  They both gave me huge hugs and thank you’s.  You gave me a bath with kisses.  That was over 10 years ago.

Thank you for being our protector, playmate, pillow, and very best friend.  Thanks also for keeping Angel healthy and young at heart – always looking out for her as you became her eyes & ears even when time and an aching body crept up on you too.

I hope you know how much you’re loved and now so terribly missed.

So until I get to see you again have a blast with every frisbee, ball, duck toy, pond & sprinkler you find in heaven baby girl.
